This assignment’s goal was to create a staircase system that would serve as the city’s connection to the High Line park. The site was the corner of 10th Avenue and West 26th Street.

First project of the third semester. One had  to design a canopy that would complement the architecture school building and act as an entrance for the city to the university. The canopy also had to be able to provide a minimum of ten individuals shelter from the sunlight, rain, and snow.
